D Garrett (Denver, CO)

D Garrett is a visual artist/Muralist, residing in Denver Colorado. She creates her visual art with acrylic paint, as well as a variety of other media on canvas, walls, sculptures, and more. D's art is often co-mingled with her spiritual life as a Priestess, facilitating art, and spiritual practice as a way of life. Through art, and spiritual practice D found sanctuary, and freedom from a traumatic life as a youth/young adult. As a self taught artist, D continues her artistic development through her own business that she has grown over 12 years, along with other collaborative creative outlets. Multiple canvas commissions, mural work, art shows, workshops, classes, and collaborations, have helped drive D, and her work as a visual artist, and muralist forward. Motivation toward community building, and collaboration in mural art led to the co-founding of a mural crew that created residential, and commercial murals throughout the Denver metro, and front range areas of Colorado. D’s latest art collaboration/community building effort is as a resident artist in the 40 west arts district. D is also currently a member with Womens Caucus for Art Colorado, and national chapters. Throughout 2020-2022 D spearheaded a voluntary artist collective called Conspiracy Art. D also is currently involved in the 40 west Ambassador program, continuing to build an artist network and be directly involved with the art community in the 40 west district. Because of her passion for community building, D is also very active in local art, LGBTQIA, and alternative spiritual communities, bringing her love for art and unity with her in creative, inspirational ways.
